Description: Zemplin Museum in Michalovce is located in a baroque-classical manor-house, near to the centre of the town.
Zemplin Museum Michalovce was set up in 1957 as a Zemplin homeland museum.
The manor-house is from the 17th century. It was rebuilt in 1830. Nowadays, the manor-house is a two-floor block building with corner donjons and side ground floor wings with an important sacral building - rotunda (all are cultural monuments).
Collections of the museum documents national geographic and historical nature and global cultural, historical and economic progress of the region.
