The museum documents the history, technical and scientific traditions of the most industrial regions of Historic Hungary. At the end of 18th century, Slovakia belonged in the development of technic to the outstanding European countries.
The collection includes monuments from mining, metallurgy, artistic smithery, clock-making, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, surveying and cartography, factographic cinematographic technology and articles from historical instrumental technique from physics, chemistry and astronomy.
