Description: Nitra Museum is located in the centre of the town Nitra.
Nitra Museum was established in 1878. The first collection (Collection of Antiquities of the Nitra Zhupa) was the basis for Zhupa Museum at Nitra (1896).
The museum was moved to the Town Hall (Neo-Renaissance building) in 1900.
Collection of Nitra Museum includes exhibits from the domain of botany, zoology, archaeology, history, ethnography and numismatics.
