Janko Kral Museum Liptovsky Mikulas was established in 1955.
The museum is named named after a poet Janko Kral (a Mikulas native).
The seat of the museum is the Illeshazy manor-house, the first County house, later known as Selingov house.
Collection of the museum Janok Kral documents, preserves, protects and presents funds of historical, ethnographical and artistic nature which are connected with development of Liptovsky Mikulas, writers of Liptov region and documents contemporary life and happenings in Liptovsky Mikulas.
