Description: East - Slovakian Gallery in Kosice is situated in the centre of the city.
East - Slovakian Gallery Kosice, opened in 1951, was the first regional gallery in Slovakia.
Collection of the gallery documents the artistic life in the East-Slovakian region.
The gallery has seat in the former District (Zhupa) House since 1992. District House was built in 1779 in a Baroque-Neoclassicist style.
