Description: Church of st. Egidius in Bardejov is situated in the historical centre of the town. Town Bardejov was enlisted into UNESCO World Heritage List in 2000.
Church of st. Egidius Bardejov is a Roman-catholic parochial church.
The church was built in 14th-15th century.
Church of st. Egidius has three nave basilicas with simple arcades (1427), St. Catherine's chapel, a central nave, Verica Mager's and St. Andrew's chapels, eleven wing-altars, a number of other works of the Late-Gothic and Early-Renaissance, as well as murals, handicraft, a set of patron benches, candelabra, chandeliers, a font, liturgical instruments, Calvary-sculptural, etc.
The church is one of the finest examples of Late-Gothic architecture in Eastern Slovakia.
