Description: Banska Bystrica Castle is located in the historical centre of the town.
Banska Bystrica Castle was built in the 13th century.
The castle has got the original Late-Romanesque church with the oltar of St. Barbara made by Master Pavol from Levoca.
The caste was reconstructed in the 14th and 15th century and in 1761 after the fire.
After 1479 was built the stone fortofication with a gate and round bastions.
