Balneological Museum Piestany was established in 1931.
The museum had a a local-history character. Since 1966 the museum has focused on balneology, climatic spa and the history of Slovak watering places.
Expositions of the museum includes exhibitions of balneohistory, mineral waters in Slovakia, ethnography and archaeology.
